Squadro 356 has been asked to assit the Boy Scouts at their 2010 Jamborama at
Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, Arizona Friday, April 9, 2010 through
Sunday morning April 11, 2010. CAP Personnel have been asked to assist
in two functions:
1. To provide 24 hours staffing of the Arizona Division of Emergency
Management Communication Vehicle/RV called the TOAD. This is an
excellent opportunity for CAP personnel to gain valuable communication
training using the state's communication equipment that will enable us
to provide AZDEM assistance in the future.
2. To provide parking assistance much like we have done for Luke Days.
This is another great opportunity for Squadron 356 to shine and serve as a great
community service project. This will be a 24 hour operation so I am
looking for personnel to cover all time frames. Meals will be provided
for squadron Personnel at no charge.
